Bessèges (2): Devriendt sprints to his second podium in a couple of days time

Five riders escaped from the peloton in the second stage at the Etoile de Bessèges (6/02, 2.1) between Milhaud and Poulx. The maximal advantage of 5 minutes shrinked as the peloton approached the final. The escapees were joined by five other riders during the final 25 kilometer, but finally they were caught one by one on the hilly course. Magnus Cort won the stage. Tom Devriendt sprinted to his second podium in a couple of days time. Aimé De Gendt will start the third stage on Friday around Bessèges in 28th position in the general classification.
