Luxembourg (1): peloton neutralizes the first part of the stage

The peloton of the Tour de Luxembourg (2.Pro, 15-19/09) striked at the beginning of the race, because of the dangerous race circumstances on the roads between Remich and Hesperange. A solution was found, by neutralizing the race for 85 kilometer and open the race on the local laps for... 40 kilometer. Loïc Vliegen attacked during the first of four laps, but he was caught later. This second stage finished in a bunch sprint, won by Arnaud Démare. Pieter Vanspeybrouck was the first rider of Circus-Wanty Gobert-Tormans crossing the line, in 31st position.
